KIPO AND THE AGE OF WONDERBEASTS SEASON 3 TRAILER

 

The trailer for the third and final season of Kipo and the age of Wonderbeasts that is going to premiere on Netflix on 12th of Octomber in the US. It's a bit weird that the third and final season that contains once again 10 episodes like the other two seasons before this one is also the last. For a show that debuted in 2020 to end in the same year just 10 months later with all three seasons, 30 episodes in general, it's a bit weird. Good if you think thaat we have the whole story and we don't have to wait months or years for each season (like we have for The Dragon Prince or we had for The Legend of Korra) but is also kind of sad cause this show seems like it has so much more to give and so many more stories to tell. So let's hope that the final season is as coprehensive to complete this great story and leave us with a proper ending, for now just enjoy the trailer.

HOW KIPO IS SO AMAZING!!

Kipo and The Age of Wonderbeasts is an amzing show, for me personally is not even close to the level of Avatar or even The Dragon Prince but still it's a great show that you MUST watch. This is my second post about the show and this video has many spoilers of both seasons of the show, so if you haven't watched Kipo yet go and watch it first and then go back to see this really good explanatory video.

SHE-RA AND THE PRINCESSES OF POWER - IF YOU LIKE AVATAR CHECK OUT THIS SHOW

     

Another great show to watch if you love Avatar (like Korra, The Dragon Prince and Kipo) is She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. It's a show produced by DreamWorks Animation, of course it's on Netflix and it's a reboot of an older show from the 80's.

    This time focuses on Adora and her journey to become She-Ra, the Pricess of Power and she is on her quest to save the world alongside with other princesses with magical powers and at the same time to develop her character from the trauma that she's been thru because of the place she was raised. Who's the threat? Hordak and his evil horde, alien invaders that want to conquer Etheria, her world. 

    It has five seasons with 52 episodes total (the same number like The Legend of Korra) and it's already completed, so no wait for new seasons, exactly the opposite of The Dragon Prince that we're still waiting for four more seasons. So what are you waiting for go and watch it, it's fun and at the same time shows some serious subjects like abuse and depression and complicated relationships and it's pretty epic. I mean not as much as Avatar or The Legend of Korra or The Dragon Prince but it's still a great show, one of the best of the 21'st century and deserves more than a watch. THE LEGEND OF KORRA IS NUMBER ONE ON NETFILX

 

Like Avatar (ATLA) before it, now The Legend of Korra is the number one most watched show on Netflix right now. That's not a surprise anymore, not after the massive success of ATLA at the same streaming platform. People are thirsty for more Avatar and especially after the bad news about the original creators leaving the live action adaptation of the show (link here) Korra is the most important thing right now, especially for the new Avatar fans cause it's the direct successor of the original show, the continuation on the Avatar circle and one of the best shows of all time. We are blessed that Bryke made that show too and even we, the old fans can rewatch it for the 50th time to appreciate it even more and at the same time as we are waiting for new Avatar content. Having low expectations about the live action adaptation of ATLA and at the same time we're waiting for Bryke to make a new show about the next Avatar in the circle or maybe a prequel? Who knows? The only certain thing is that I'll be there to write it down on this blog, stay tuned.  

BREAKING NEWS: THE AVATAR CREATORS ARE LEAVING THE NETFLIX LIVE ACTION ADAPTATION OF THE SHOW

Some very surprising and unfortunate news just popped up on Bryan Konietzko's and Mike Dimartino's (The Avatar creators) instagram accounts (links here and here), that both of them are leaving the production of the new Avatar The Last Airbender Netflix live action adaptation of the series due to creative differences and not having creative control over their creation. And as even Bryan wrote that he didn't got trust and respect as well! 

That's not good at all, an another failed example of the live action adaptation of animated shows is on the horizon like the movie that we don't talk about? I hope not but for sure my expectations lowered significantly without Bryke as executives of the show, I'm really interested to see the exact reasons why Bryke left the project and everybody else do too I'm sure, was Netflix had a whitewashed cast? Did they changed the show's plot, story or depth? Some unexpected twist or a change of a character? Who knows, we'll just have to wait and see. 

Personally I still wanna watch the show, just with less excitement and lower expectations about it being as good as it should be, I just hope the casting is proper and the special effects as well, at least Netflix should make that right. I will keep you updated with everything new coming about the Netflix adaptation and Avatar verse in general and let's not forget about The Dragon Prince and some other cartoons that I wanna suggest to you guys. AVATAR BROKE THE NETFLIX WORLD RECORD!!

Avatar not only become the number one most watched show on Netflix for many weeks but also broke the record for the most days on number one! 59 days and still counting! Not bad for a show that ended 12 years ago on the US, to become the most watched show on Netflix, the biggest streaming platform in the world. The most watched than any other show Netflix original or not. That's why Avatar is the greatest show of all time people, Bryke blessed us with it and now the world is a better place to live!! 

THE DRAGON PRINCE WON AN EMMY!

Huge news once again for The Dragon Prince, as the show won the Emmy for Outstanding Children's Animated Series! I know that is way more than a ''childen's show'' so wrong category maybe but still it's a huge achievement for the franchise that just got renewed a few days ago as I updated you with a post on this blog. It was also nominated for best music and it's a huge shame that it lost to Tom and Jerry! The music of the show is amazing, I could say maybe the best in any show and I'm shocked that it didn't won there, but that's ok we got the bigger and more important award so it's ok I guess. So big things are happening for the show, seven seasons, board game, graphic novel, an Emmy and who knows what else will happen on the show's future, so stay tuned on this blog for more news of The Dragon Prince, Avatar of course and Korra. Here's the acceptance of the award by Aaron Ehasz co-creator of the show (on this web ceremony of the Emmys because of the quarantine). 

THE DRAGON PRINCE FULL SAGA ANNOUNCEMENT

Just a few hours ago was announced that The Dragon Prince will have the seven seasons that it desereves!! Those are great news because Netflix had us on hold for some time, a date isn't announced yet though. Also was announced and that a board game and a graphic novel based on the show will be out soon. All those news from the cast of the show on the web panel of Comic Con 2020, enjoy.

AVATAR VS THE DRAGON PRINCE

 Lol, we all know the answer to this but be fair The Dragon Prince needs way more episodes/seasons so we can have a fair comparison. Also I don't agree with all the points adressed in this video but I agree with most of them, those are some of my thoughts on the video, enjoy.

 Another show you must check out after The Dragon Prince is Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts. If you wanna watch this very fun show about a girl in a post apocalyptic world and how she is going to find her way back to the underground world that she was raised by her father. Now she finds herself unexpectedly alone in a world full of mutes and danger that she must face to get close to her goal. If that sounds good to you then you must check out this show, it has also great comedy and exceptionary good music. It was animated by the MIR Studios, the same studios that animated The Legend Of Korra and was founded by people that animated Avatar and you already know what that means, exceptionary good animation too. The story is also really good and the characters really unique, just don't expect a show as dramatic (epic) and serious as Avatar and The Dragon Prince but instead a really entertaining and unique show in many different ways. It has two seasons with ten episodes each and I couldn't be more excited to present it to you guys after I have already finished both of this show's seasons and I expect a third one the sooner possible, so here's the trailer to see it for yourselves.
