Huge news once again for The Dragon Prince, as the show won the Emmy for Outstanding Children's Animated Series! I know that is way more than a ''childen's show'' so wrong category maybe but still it's a huge achievement for the franchise that just got renewed a few days ago as I updated you with a post on this blog. It was also nominated for best music and it's a huge shame that it lost to Tom and Jerry! The music of the show is amazing, I could say maybe the best in any show and I'm shocked that it didn't won there, but that's ok we got the bigger and more important award so it's ok I guess. So big things are happening for the show, seven seasons, board game, graphic novel, an Emmy and who knows what else will happen on the show's future, so stay tuned on this blog for more news of The Dragon Prince, Avatar of course and Korra. Just a few hours ago was announced that The Dragon Prince will have the seven seasons that it desereves!! Those are great news because Netflix had us on hold for some time, a date isn't announced yet though. Also was announced and that a board game and a graphic novel based on the show will be out soon. Lol, we all know the answer to this but be fair The Dragon Prince needs way more episodes/seasons so we can have a fair comparison. Also I don't agree with all the points adressed in this video but I agree with most of them, those are some of my thoughts on the video, enjoy.
Another show you must check out after The Dragon Prince is Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts. If you wanna watch this very fun show about a girl in a post apocalyptic world and how she is going to find her way back to the underground world that she was raised by her father. Now she finds herself unexpectedly alone in a world full of mutes and danger that she must face to get close to her goal. If that sounds good to you then you must check out this show, it has also great comedy and exceptionary good music. It was animated by the MIR Studios, the same studios that animated The Legend Of Korra and was founded by people that animated Avatar and you already know what that means, exceptionary good animation too. The story is also really good and the characters really unique, just don't expect a show as dramatic (epic) and serious as Avatar and The Dragon Prince but instead a really entertaining and unique show in many different ways. It has two seasons with ten episodes each and I couldn't be more excited to present it to you guys after I have already finished both of this show's seasons and I expect a third one the sooner possible, so here's the trailer to see it for yourselves.
Just a review of the second book of The Dragon Prince. Good review overall but I still don't agree with all his points, the character development is pure gold in the show especially with Soren in the end of the second book and that's my favourite moment in the whole season and on my top 3 of the show in general.
